Revitalisation of the former freight depot
This exciting new district is currently being constructed on the site of the former goods station and railway shunting yard right in the centre of Frankfurt. Europaviertel (European Quarter) is one of the most important development projects in the Rhein-Main capital. Located between the exhibition grounds and the banking district, Europaviertel attractively links the city centre and its green belt in a very natural way. With its modern mix of residential, office, gastronomy, shopping and entertainment areas, Europaviertel gives its local employees and inhabitants as well as national and international investors fascinating perspectives. omniCon supported the revitalization of the former railway area since the inventory and exemption from the planning authority Eisenbahnbundesamt. omniCon controlled the planning and construction services for excavation, dismantling, restructuring, ordnance clearance and disposal works as well as development works for traffic areas and open spaces from a technical perspective to public- law and sales contracts and prepared the land for sale and take over.
